Core Values are the functions that really drive us. They define how we function as a Church.
Here are our five core values:

Our Vision
We envision a place …
…where people are excited to go out and serve in the community around them; where creative outreaches are used to help people who have never heard to understand the love and good news of Jesus Christ; where Binghamton knows and appreciates the Church and would miss it if it were gone; where Binghamton sees Christ modeled through the individuals of the Church every day.
… where the Word of God is preached faithfully, in an interesting and relevant way.
… where people see their civic responsibilities as an opportunity to emulate the love of Christ and continue to transform Binghamton into the healthy thriving community it strives to be; where the church is actively serving the community and becomes an irreplaceable ally to community leaders; where individuals gladly sacrifice their time to volunteer to make their community a better place to live; where the issues of our culture are seriously addressed.
… where God is worshiped joyfully and reverently; where the music is Christ-honoring and relevant; where worship is a significant event in which believers are encouraged and challenged in their relationship with God; where worship communicates to the visitor the magnificence of God and our need for Him.
… where leaders are developed and potential leaders are actively being built into tomorrow’s leaders.
… where a passion for reaching the world is what drives our members; where church-planting churches are started; a place that seeks to put a healthy thriving church in every town in New York; where there is a heart for reaching out with money, volunteers, and resources to needy places in the world.
… that reaches out to meet the needs of the local poor and gives them the tools to improve their life. A place where people find real help, experience real change and discover real answers; where marriages are healed and parents’ hearts are turned toward their children; where destructive lifestyles, habits, addictions and compulsions are forever jettisoned; where wasted lives are retrieved and new beginnings launched.
… where church is enjoyed; where people look forward to coming each week; where you are greeted with a smile and people take time to get to know you; where you can feel like family; where close challenging friendships are developed.
… where prayer is a normal part of our culture; where every major decision is immersed in prayer; where people regularly pray for and with one another.
… where people are free to attempt great things; where taking risks for God’s kingdom is an exalted virtue; where people have nothing to prove and therefore nothing to lose; where creativity and innovation are honored, not feared
